38 Weeks
I had another one of those fun, false labor nights last night. You know, painful contractions that get you nowhere? I really love those; all the fun of regular labor but only half the calories.

St. Paul hit the nail on the head when he said, To the pure all things are pure, but to the impure nothing is pure (Ti 1:15). It is a tragically impure world that labels the purity of a baby at the breast as "gross." For those with the purity to see it, a nursing mother is one of the most precious, most beautiful, and most holy of all possible images of woman. (source)

Hi honey,
Aunt Dianne again.. Congratulations on an incredible job of carrying these Twinkies! I hope you find it encouraging to hear that I was in Charleston today on business and happened to meet with a guy who had 2.5 year old twin girls. His wife carried to 38.5 weeks, then delivered. Babies are beautiful…Kate and Clare! Hang in there mommy, and daddy too, you are doing great and this old maternal child nurse knows that the “fun” of the pregnancy is long over. Love to all, dlh
