The Twinkies

I think I’ll take a sick day today. After all, I haven’t slept more than 2 1/2 hours at a time in about 4 days and I have a nasty sore throat. I feel pretty dreadful. So, I think I’ll call in sick. Someone else can do the estimated 5 loads of laundry, make dinner, make the cookies for the multiples club cookie exchange, get another garlard for one tree and another string of lights for the other, string the outdoor lights, take out the trash, post the pictures of the babies on their trip to pick out a tree and, oh yeah, take care of the babies all day long. B. won’t even be home until after their bedtime tonight; he has some business thing.

Now that I’ve stopped laughing - getting to stop working just because you are sick and miserable, I mean, that’s a good one - I’ll go work on a shower while things remain calm. After all, it’s been over a week since I washed my hair…
