So, I was tagged by the Stirrup Queen to tell you six strange things about myself.
- I hate the phone. I hate to talk on the phone, I hate calling people, I hate answering the phone. It borders on a phobia.
- I spent an entire year of my life studying Old Norse.
- I have supinated feet.
- I love to read. I’ll pick up a book I’ve read before, open to a random page, and start reading. Once I am reading, I am oblivious to my surroundings. I once missed the city bus (twice) as a child because I was reading.
- I am incredibly vain, but also so lazy that I can’t be bothered to wear makeup.
- I own a spinning wheel and a loom.
If you haven’t done this already –go back to your blog now and tell everyone six strange things about yourself (and let me know you’ve done so, please.)

I think the spinning wheel and loom are the coolest things in the world. Imagine the games of sleeping beauty you’ll get out of them too!

I was tagged for this but never did it. I couldn’t think of 6 strange things about me. But looking at your list — i also have a phone phobia, and am both vain and lazy. I have tried spinning but don’t have a wheel yet…so maybe i should just be less selective in what i consider ’strange’

I have a phone phobia too. So much so that I’m starting to not even like listening to my voicemail! I completed this meme so check it out here!

Wow. I own a spinning wheel, too, though not a loom and I haven’t spun in ages but my mom travels and teaches spinning all around the country, so spinning wheels remind me of home. I also have the phone phobia, and I’m really not sure what that’s about.
