February Free Association Rambles

February is here. I slept better last night, thanks for all the virtual hugs. The happy pills seem to be kicking in.J. is saying “wa wa wa” as he thinks about his nap. Really, he isn’t crying. He is actually saying “wa wa wa.” F. is giggling and blowing bubbles. She slept like a baby last night. She’s a bed hog, by the way. She hogged the uterus, J. got moved to his own crib because she was hogging the crib and kicking him in the head, and last night she managed to take up far more space than a tiny little person in a queen bed should be able to do. She’s like a cat that way. It was worth it for the good sleep, though. I’m not sure why she is so needy right now, but if her taking up almost the entire bed means I get to sleep, I am all for it. I feel a little bad for J., all alone in his nursery. Co-sleeping both of them is out of the question; mostly for reasons of space but also because they think it is play time if they are in bed together. Since the point of the co-sleeping is the SLEEPING, well, I think you see why I am not a fan of co-sleeping both of them. J. doesn’t seem to mind his isolation. He let’s you know when he needs to be in bed with me, and when he needs it he isn’t kidding around. He has to be hugged all night. F. is content to just hear me breath, J. has to actually be pressed up against me. Speaking of J., he is napping now and F. seems to be doing aerobics in her crib.

Stumble it!
