Post Partum Mania?
It is possible to have post partum mania? I ask not as someone who has cooked dinners all week, using recipies like “Mango Chicken Salad with Orange Vinagrette” or “Pasta with Duck Ragu”, nor as someone who made a pie that, start to finish, took over 8 hours, nor as someone who is adding a slate walkway to the garden, all with 9 month old twins. No, I those things aren’t enough to make me worry. But when I make white chocolate chip macademia nut cranberry cookies because I am bored, after reading an entire book, on a wet afternoon in which the babies declined to nap, well, I start to wonder.
Plus, who has the ingredients for white chocolate chip macademia nut cranberry cookies JUST LYING AROUND. Someone get me help.

Please come over to my house. Please? We could use some mania over here in the Land of No Energy. All those meals sound heavenly. I’m ashamed at how often we’re eating Trader Joe’s frozen pizzas. Yeah, as far as frozen pizzas go, they’re good, but they’re still frozen pizzas.
Some mania sounds a-okay about now. Enjoy yours!

Wow. I hope I have that kind of energy after my twins are born.
And for the record…I have the ingredients for white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies lying around in my cupboards. And “lying around” is where those ingredients are going to stay for the foreseeable future!
