Feeding Schedule at 11 1/2 Months
8:00 - Get up. Nurse.
9:00 - Split one 6 oz. jar of baby food.
10:00 - Snack on banana. F ate most of it.
12:00 - Nurse. Split one 4 oz. jar of baby food.
3:00 - Each eat one 4 oz, jar of baby food.
3:30 - Nurse
5:30 - Nurse (F only)
6:30 - F has a smigeon of jarred food. J takes down 2 1/2 4 oz. jars.
7:00 - Nurse (F only)
8:00 - Nurse

Goodness, that’s alot of feeding, I felt like I was feeding mine all the time, but I think you got me beat, except you nurse, I couldn’t pull that off. Congrats on that, I think.:)

Wow, those babies are good eaters! How long has it been, if you don’t my curiosity, since they’ve been not taking any bottles? I thought they would still be getting some formula - you really have gotten the hang of nursing twins. That’s just so amazing! Of course, that would also still be true if they still take a bottle or two now and again.

I think we stopped bottles at about 7 months. For a while once we started solids I was pumping again and using the expressed milk for baby sitters and their father, but they started just chewing on the bottles and letting the milk dribble out all over their chins so I decided that I wasn’t going to pump for them to just waste it. Now the babyitter, when we can land one, gives them solids. We finished up the can of formula we had and called it a day.
I’m not sure if “lie down on the floor, pull shirt up, bra flaps down and let them attack” qualifies as “getting the hang of it”…
