St. Paul hit the nail on the head when he said, To the pure all things are pure, but to the impure nothing is pure (Ti 1:15). It is a tragically impure world that labels the purity of a baby at the breast as "gross." For those with the purity to see it, a nursing mother is one of the most precious, most beautiful, and most holy of all possible images of woman. (source)

Isn’t it amazing seeing our baby turns into a big kid?

You just look away, just for a moment. Maybe the doorbell rings, or nature calls. Maybe they go to Grandma’s overnight and then you see him. Your baby. Only he’s not your baby anymore. He’s a little man and you tell them to stay small, beg them, but they don’t. It’s wonderful and sad and exciting and horrible all at once.

That is so hard, and yet so wonderful! One day you are snuggling your newborn, and the next you are watching them plan their life away from home. It really goes by so fast, if you blink you’ll miss it.

What stunning eyes he has. They grow up so quickly. Just the other day I was too scared to hold my prem baby and today I wish he was still small. Happy WW.

He is so very handsome. And big–like a boy, not a baby. I think someone comes along ever month or so and replaces them–like changelings, but not as evil.
