St. Paul hit the nail on the head when he said, To the pure all things are pure, but to the impure nothing is pure (Ti 1:15). It is a tragically impure world that labels the purity of a baby at the breast as "gross." For those with the purity to see it, a nursing mother is one of the most precious, most beautiful, and most holy of all possible images of woman. (source)

That is so true!
One day recently, I was at a pool, and accidentally opened up the curtain in a changing room stall on a woman was sitting in there breastfeeding. I felt sorry for her for feeling like she had to hide her activity behind a curtain. Later that same day, I saw two different moms on the lawn at this same pool openly and loudly reprimand their toddlers, and give their kids each a harsh smack on the bottom which caused the little ones to wail. At which point they got yelled at for crying.
Which behavior should be out of public view???!!!

I clicked the ad for Breastfeeding Clothes, and saw some nice stuff. I used to love getting nursing tops, though the truth is, I really didn’t need much. Just lift the shirt, feed the baby!
Oh how I miss nursing!!! My daughter weaned so young… only three and a half… years old!

Isn’t that the truth? So sad. We were at the hospital visiting our friend yesterday and my hubby heard a woman yelling at her child he said looked around 3 years old. She was saying shut the “f” up you little “B”. I can’t even imagine saying words like that to one of my children.

That’s awesome!
Thankfully I haven’t had any problems NIP, but I am shocked that it is causing such a stir lately.
I think I need to repost this on my blog this week.
Happy WW!
