St. Paul hit the nail on the head when he said, To the pure all things are pure, but to the impure nothing is pure (Ti 1:15). It is a tragically impure world that labels the purity of a baby at the breast as "gross." For those with the purity to see it, a nursing mother is one of the most precious, most beautiful, and most holy of all possible images of woman. (source)

You rock because (I cannot avoid lists, even in my comments!):
a. I gave up on daytime tandem nursing around 11 months because it’s too dangerous for all parties involved, though I sometimes resort to it in the middle of the night
b. I wish I had more photos of nursing because it takes up such a large percentage of my waking (and sleeping) hours, but hard to take photos of myself in the moment
c. you’re not afraid to put it out there!

Wow! You can tandem breastfeed AND take a photo? You do, indeed, rock.
(And you do, anyway, even if you didn’t take the photo yourself).
I miss the breastfeeding, but don’t know how I would fit it into my life any more.

That was a “hold the camera above the head and take a lot of shots hoping that one comes out” trick.

What a beautiful shot!
I want to be just like you when I grow up. Seriously, you give me hope.

Tandem nursing = cool
Beautiful babies = Ahh
You taking the photo of beautiful babies tandem nursing = Wow!
I routinely end up with one eye overly close, no head and a variety of other strange happenings. Still, I take them and share them with friends and family. Good for you to get people thinking about taking the pics that we’ll treasure, especially when they’re driving us crazy.

Yesterday post-daycare both kiddos were climbing me to nurse first, so I decided, what the heck, and we went for tandem again. I definitely had a, if Stacie can do it… moment. There was some eye poking but mostly it went okay, so thanks.
Though how I would have then held up a camera to capture it is beyond me!

Gorgeous - how did you take this brilliant photo ?
I still tandem nurse but I decided not to post my picture heehee… you rock Stacie . They are little acrobats now …contortionists who use me as their launching pad. They also poke each other eyes out and object to the other touching their boob but it a heck fun watching them.

PS I just noticed that there’s an ad on the top of this page for Nestle Baby club, the formula makers and pushers. How unfortunate…
