They Don’t Like Peeps
I tried to do photos for the Easter card this morning. I was going to use peeps to get the kids to stay in one place. The candy trick worked quite well with the Valentine’s Day lollipops. Unfortunately, they didn’t like peeps.

Does anyone like Peeps? LOL What about trying to find an Easter sucker, maybe in the shape of an egg, duck or bunny?

Well, I think they are gross but they are the first sweet thing F has ever had she didn’t like. In fact, they are one of the few foods - if peeps can really be called food - she doesn’t like. This is a girl who eats SOAP. Peeps taste worse than soap.

Did you let the Peeps get STALE first? They’re no good when they’re fresh and squishy.

I’m thinking “Peeps taste worse than soap” should not be their next slogan. Does she eat all soap, or only tasty kind? I do love the photos, anyway.

Finally — something Fiona doesn’t like to eat. It’s snowing again.

I love peeps.
It’s a lonely job. Kind of like being the one person who eats those stupid Circus Peanuts (that would be my aunt B, by the way).

Smart kiddos. Peeps are gross
They look so pretty & tempting though. Evil little tricksey things.

Thank you for this post. I am having the worst day and this actually made me laugh. Thanks.

I make the same face F has on here just THINKING of them. Bleah!

HA ha ha ha!
Yeah, I am pretty sure I made a face like that the first time I had them, too. Yuck.

Both their expressions are hysterical. Thanks for the delightful pictures.

I love the idea of using peeps for an Easter photo! I’ll have to try this with Zane and see if he likes them or not! Their faces are sooo funny!

Brilliant. There’s a Peeps advertisement in there somewhere.

So cute, I love her dress! Go for a super messy Cadberry egg next? We used the plastic eggs with *surprises* inside for my son, it worked quite well last year. (Surprises being one or two jelly beans an egg, or a small car, think matchbox but slightly larger)

I love peeps, myself…And i *love* F’s expression!!

Fi’s really got the right mix of disgust and disappointment on her face that shows just how I feel about peeps.
My spouse, however, actually likes the repugnant things. Blech!

(Trish, my husband is from the US, so I can translate - they’re little marshmallow baby chicks, which are sold at Easter. I haven’t seen them here).
Ok, AUS/USA moment over!
I love the expression on her face. “Dang - that looked like it was going to be SO GOOD!”.

They may not have liked them, but the yuck face was pretty cute. Tell F they taste better roasted.
