Dear Zoe and Lennox

Dear Zoe and Lennox,

I did a Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep shoot this morning. The baby girl was born at 21 weeks and was tiny and utterly perfect. I thought about you two while I was taking her picture, how tiny you were and how beautiful. You are why I signed up as a volunteer with NILMDTS. Now, since I did this shoot for you this morning I want you to do something for me. Look after your mama. She’s a strong and courageous woman but she misses you.

Love,

Your “Internet Auntie” Stacie

NILMDTSThe Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation (NILMDTS) administers a network of more than 5,000 volunteer photographers in the United States and nineteen International countries. At a family’s request, a NILMDTS Affiliated Photographer will come to your hospital or hospice location and conduct a sensitive and private portrait session. The portraits are then professionally retouched and presented to the families on an archival DVD or CD that can be used to print portraits of their cherished baby. If you do not know about Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep I encourage you to click on the link and learn more about what they do.

Please consider donating to the Zoe and Lennox Simpson Memorial Fund. This fund will go to the Cook Children’s Hospital to fund neonatal research.

Stumble it!
