Renaissance Faire
I took the kids to a Renaissance Faire today, cutting class to join a homeschooling co-op for school day at the Faire. We saw a sheep get sheared by hand, sheep dog puppies, bunnies, sheep, a goat and some geese. Then we went to a magic show where the assistant juggled fire. After that we had corn dogs and fires for lunch which wasn’t very period but I didn’t think the kids would go for the turkey legs. Then we went shopping and I got a new bodice and chemise since I lost two sizes with that whole pregnancy thing and can’t wear my old bodice. Yes, you can hate me now. I also got the kids miniature medieval outfits for Halloween. Finally we saw horses and got some kettle corn for the car. Where they are currently sleeping.
The kids, I mean, not the horses.
You can see pictures of F and her friend K trying on princess hats HERE.
