Ballet Snapshots

It’s that kind of day. Fiona is painting quietly in the other room while I sit in a beaten heap.
Really, life with toddlers is rather like bailing a leaky boat with one hand while rowing towards shore with the other. You don’t make any noticeable progress but you can’t slow down or you’ll sink.
I hear her say, “I painted my toenails, like yours!” And, sure enough. She had. James quickly followed suit.

We took the kids mini-golfing for the first time this morning. Both had a great time. James had a meltdown when we had to leave – he wanted to play another round. He was quite good, actually, and got a hole in one on one hole and a hole in two on another, plus multiple holes in three. Of course, he played each hole about 5 times. There was no one behind us.
