Last night, because both kids had a slight fever, we ended up with both of them in bed with us at about 11:00. As he drifted off to sleep J lay cuddled up to me stroking my arm over and over again.
Tonight we were trying to teach him to blow kisses. When asked “Can you do it?” he took my hand and lifted it to my mouth for me, then went over and did the same thing for his father.
F now has three more teeth; all of her canines except the upper right one have poked through.
J was so excited when he came down the stairs on Christmas morning and saw his play kitchen that he fell down the last step.
If J gets up in the morning or from a nap before F when she finally comes downstairs he smiles and lights up he is so happy to see her.
J likes to stack his nesting blocks, and always does them right side up so that the open side faces down. F just started trying to stack and she is much less finicky about which side is up but if she puts a block on a tower on its side J will turn it so that it is right side up like all the others.
